A Time to be Born: Rosetta Withers was born April 16, 1941 to Lindsey and Mattie Mae Smith of Wrens, Georgia. She transitioned in the midst of her loved ones on Thursday, August 20, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Withers; father, Lindsey Smith Sr., mother, Mattie Smith and brothers, Luther Smith, Freddie Smith, and Lindsey Smith, Jr. A Time to Fellowship: During her early years, Rose was introduced to Christ at Stone Springfield A.M.E. Church. In later years, Rose continued her Christian journey through her baptism and receiving full membership at Noah’s Ark Missionary Baptist Church. Rose leaves to cherish the essence of her memories to her daughter, Falana Nichelle Withers; grandson, Jovani Galen Withers; one brother, Willie Smith and two sisters, Adel Barnes and Dr. Barbara Smith; Three impeccable lifelong friends, Fredericka, Fran and Peggy (NYC); prayer and care partners, Rev. Frazier and Victoria Green, Hazel Reed and a host of loving relatives and friends. Rose’s spirit was truly uplifted as she glorified God during her worshipping and fellowshipping with her Noah’s Ark Family…. A Joy Divine!!! -------------------------------------------
