Mrs. Mamie W. Brown age 87 of Waynesboro, GA. entered into eternal rest on Sunday December 13, 2020. Graveside Service for  Mrs. Brown will be held on Saturday December 19, 2020 12:00 p.m. at Pines Cemetery 711 W. 6th Street Waynesboro, GA. Visitation Friday December 18, 2020 2:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Mrs. Mamie Brown was born on February 23, 1933, in Waynesboro, Georgia, to her parents, the late Handy Jones and Carrie Bell Preston Jones. A TIME TO LIVE: She was employed by Samson manufacturing for over 30 years before retiring and going to work for Mobley Cafeteria, also over 30 years. She was a member of Mount Olive A.M.E. Church. A TIME TO LEAVE: In addition to her parents and husband, Bartow Brown, Mamie was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Mattie Bell Ingram; three grandsons, Alderic Webb, Timothy Hamilton, and Cedric Douglas; and one great-grandson, De’Airus Lambert. A TIME TO MOURN: Those left behind to cherish Mamie’s loving memories include: four daughters, Carolyn Hamilton, Janice Jones, Inez Hodge of Waynesboro, Georgia, and Deborah (Amos) Servants of Augusta, Georgia; five sons, Jimmy Jones, Danny Jones, Calvin Jones, Isaiah (Annette) Hodge, Jr., all of Waynesboro, Georgia, and Bobby (Anna) Brown of Augusta, Georgia; one sister, Alverea Abrams of Waynesboro, Georgia; 18 grandchildren; 38 greatgrandchildren; 16 great-great-children; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chavous B.
