Judson Cunningham Jr. Obituary

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be
any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8, New Testament
Judson Cunningham, affectionately known as “Cunningham”, was born on October 5, 1939, in Burke
County to the late Judson Cunningham Sr. and Carrie Neely Cunningham.
On April 16, 2025 he peacefully entered eternal rest and was joyfully welcomed at Heaven’s gate by his
parents, devoted loving companion Mary Harden, and his beloved children Barbara Cunningham, Alvin
Cunningham Sr., and Ricky Walker. He was also reunited with his siblings, Freddie Cunningham Sr. and

early years Judson found his passion in the transportation industry and subsequently he traversed the
highways throughout Georgia and the United States for more than 60 years! Judson was a mentor and
educator for the many men wanting to follow him in the transportation industry.
He accepted Christ in his life at an early age and joined his family church, Lofton A.M.E. Judson found
immense joy in spending quality time with his family and loved ones, creating treasured memories that
will forever remain in their hearts.
He leaves his LEGACY and memories to his children, Cheryl (Reginald) Cooper, Deborah (Eric)
