Isiah Styles, Jr entered into rest on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Doctor’s hospital in Augusta, GA.
Isiah was born on July 22, 1954, in Vidette
GA, to the late Isiah Styles, Sr, and the late Luella Gresham Glascock.
At an early age, Isiah confessed his life to Christ, was baptized and became a member of St. Clair Missionary Baptist Church , Keysville, GA.
Isiah graduated from Wrens High School in Wrens, Ga, in 1972 and relocated to Newark, New Jersey with his God parents, Charlie and Lula Mae Hankerson and extended family to pursue better work opportunities. He was employed as a Foreman for 17 years with Alto Pallets in Rahway, NJ, and Dynamic Security. Additionally Isiah served honorably in our nation’s military as a Personnel Specialist with the Army Reserves under the 78th Division, Edison, NJ. He received further training at Ft. Knox, Kentucky and Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Indiana.
After leaving New Jersey, he returned home and became a community protector while working at Burke County Sheriff Department in Waynesboro, GA. He spent time with his Siblings in the Greater Atlanta areas, established a lawn care and car detail services. Isiah finally retired in 2017, and settled back to Waynesboro, Ga.
Isiah was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He rose early in the mornings to call and check on his family and friends. He filled their hearts with encouragement, memories, joy and laughter. He loved his music, sports coffee and cooking. Isiah spent
most of his time outside and was passionate about grilling and taking long walks.
One sister Georgia Lou Davis and one brother Ed- Willie Lockhart preceded him in death.
He leaves to love and cherish his memories a son, Isiah Simmons of East Orange, N.J., and Fiancé, Willie Mae Carlyle of Waynesboro, GA.

One Sister-in-Law, Osie L. Lockhart, Augusta, Ga.
And a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
