Frank Roberts was born on February 24, 1951, in Girard, Georgia. He peacefully departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the age of 74.
Frank was an exceptional man whose life was defined by hard work, kindness, and generosity. A proud truck driver, he dedicated his career to providing for his family with steadfast love and commitment. He never met a stranger—his warm heart and open spirit made everyone feel welcome. Known for his giving nature, Frank would gladly give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.
His greatest joy was his family. Frank leaves behind his devoted wife, Patricia Roberts, and their children: Sevada Roberts, Stephanie (Derrick) Jones, Francine Roberts, Sintell Roberts, Berthera Roberts, Frank Roberts, and Travis (Teyreara) Roberts. He was the proud grandfather of 30 grandchildren, each of whom brought him endless pride and happiness.
He is also survived by his beloved brothers and sisters: James (Glenda) Roberts, John (Princess) Roberts, Pete (Annie) Hopkins, Catherine (Willie) Price, Gloria (Alfred) Heath, Rose (Neville) Williams, Horace Roberts, Willie Earl (Margaret) Roberts, and Laverna (Quincy) Williams; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, the late James and Bertha Roberts, and his grandson, Leo Utley.
Above all else, Frank loved the Lord. His deep faith was the foundation of his life, guiding the way he worked, gave, and loved. Affectionately known as “Big Frank,” he was a man whose strength and kindness flowed from his trust in God. His legacy of faith will live on through his family for generations to come.
In his quiet moments, Frank enjoyed watching wrestling, listening to music by Roy C., Marvin Sease, and R. Kelly, and showing off his dance moves. He loved picking up his guitar to strum songs that carried the spirit of a true country soul. Proudly calling himself a “black country guy,” Frank’s music and joy reflected the down-to-earth, soulful way he lived his life.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are thankful for the 74 years we were blessed to share with him. His laughter, wisdom, music, faith, and love will continue to guide us, and his memory will forever remain a light in our lives.

“Gone but never forgotten, forever in our hearts.”
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
—2 Timothy 4:7–8
