On November 2 nd , 1953, in Waynesboro, Ga, Ella Mack was born to the late Eddie and Ella Mae
Cummings Mack. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Elbert John Turner, Eddie Mack
Jr., and Green Willie Mack, four sisters, Elizabeth Mack, Dorthy Mack, Lelia Mae Hunter, Annie
Mae Eady, and one granddaughter, Kyliah Destiny Mack.
At an early age, she joined Roberson Grove Baptist Church, where she served faithfully as a
Missionary. In addition, she joined the Remnant Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev.
Velton Moore in her later years.
Ella graduated from Blakney High School in the class of 1971. After graduation, she moved to
California, where she worked at Casa Madonna Convalescent Nursing Home in Burlingame,
California. She moved back to Georgia around 1980. For the next 30 years, she worked at
Brentwood Terrance in Waynesboro, Georgia. She then worked as a home health nursing
assistant for the Chambers family.
She is survived by her son, Kristopher “Kris” Mack; two granddaughters, Keyvia Denis Mack, and
Kasia D’Ella Mack; one brother, Rev. Larry Mack; eight sisters, Lillie Mae Durham, Josephine
Kirkland, Mamie L. Brown, Georgia Smith, Hattie Mack, Estella Mack, Emma Ruth Brown,
Martha Crumbley and one brother-in-law Deacon Benjamin Eady. Ella also leaves behind six
Godchildren, Frank Mack, Kimberly Baynham, Cornelius Bryant Smith, Angela Kirkland Walker,
Jo’beyond Walker, Persaist Mack, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other close
relatives and dear friends.
On Monday night, April 7 th , 2025, Ella answered the Father’s heavenly call.
