Mr. Bruce D. Givens of Waynesboro, GA. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday September 15, 2020. Graveside Service for Mr. Bruce D. Givens will be held on Saturday September 19, 2020 12:00 p.m. Bottsford Spring Missionary Baptist Church 2154 Seven Oaks Road Waynesboro, GA. Visitation will be held on Friday September 18, 2020 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. On Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at the Augusta University Medical Center, our beloved, Bruce, slipped away into eternity. Now, he belongs to the angels. BRUCE DWAYNE GIVENS was born on August 25, 1967, in Augusta, Georgia, at MCG Hospital to Lorene Whitfield Givens and the late Lee Earnest Givens of Waynesboro, Georgia. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Bottsford Spring Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Reverend E.J. Johnson. Bruce was educated in the Burke County School System, where he graduated from SGA in 1985. Bruce was a loving son, brother, father, pure-hearted, free spirited, genuine, and giving person. He leaves to carry his precious memories: a loving mother, Lorene Whitfield Givens; one son, Bruce Dwayne Givens, Jr. of Millen, Georgia; three daughters, Ava Navaeh Givens, Alani Jade Keats, and Rylee Jade Nicole Givens of Waynesboro, Georgia; one sister, Madwayna Loralei Givens of Lawrenceville, Georgia; three brothers, Lee Givens, Lionel Givens, and Lamont Boyd of Waynesboro, Georgia; two aunts, Mary Whitfield of Augusta, Georgia, and Cynthia Whitfield of Waynesboro, Georgia; uncle, Robert Whitfield of Waynesboro, Georgia; a dedicated and loving fiance’, Josie Nicole Etterle of Waynesboro, Georgia; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends, Chavous B.
